Magi Notebook Page 17 150. The traits that are most important to survival are astrologically acquired. The variable traits that are genetically inherited are very limited. Most are astrologically derived. 151. All the important survival advantages such as intelligence, luck, beauty, stamina, strength, coordination, agility, longevity, and so on are all astrologically predictable and astrologically derived. 152. The most intelligent persons are those with the most beneficial enhancements of Mercury, Jupiter, and the Sun. Mercury rules communications and intelligence. Jupiter rules good judgment and wisdom. Jupiter enhancement of Mercury is a very powerful and beneficial aspect, and those fortunate enough to have Jupiter/Mercury enhancements are considerably more intelligent than average. 153. To a lesser extent, the Venus enhancement of Mercury works the same way. However, any enhancement of Mercury by any planet will improve a person’s chances of possessing the highest levels of intelligence. 154. This includes an enhancement of Mercury by Saturn. Saturn provides the ability to concentrate and focus on a problem, but this occurs only if the aspect by Saturn to Mercury is an enhancement aspect. Chapter 12: 155. An enhancement transit of Jupiter to Sun provides good fortune, health, vitality, wisdom, and sound judgment. It also brings the native closer to God. 156. What you believe during unfavorable Saturn transits is less accurate, and what you believe during the helpful Jupiter enhancement transits is more accurate. Make notes when these occur, and make sure you observe this when these transits are applying and within 0:45 degrees longitude or 0:20 degrees declination.
