To employ: Find the year desired under the Years in the large table. Follow the line straight across to the appropriate month. Reserve the number found. Then add the reserved number to the date of the month you are looking for. Find the sum in the Table above of Weekdays, which gives the day of the week for that particular date.

Example: On which day of the week does the birth June 12, 1998 fall?

Answer: Going straight across in the Permanent Calendar, we see that the number found under the Month of June for the year 1998 is 1. Next we take the 1 and add it to the date, which in this case is the 12th, and we come to a total of 13. We now look at the Weekday Table to see where the number 13 falls, and it falls on a Friday. So we know that June 12, 1998 falls on a Friday. So the birthday planet for this individual is Venus (Friday).
