Transits: 1. Is it true that we should always base our judgment of transits on the age of the person? Yes. The transit should always be judged according to the age of the person. For example: Common sense tells us that a transit indicating marriage for a six year old is simply not an indication for marriage, but rather for happiness within the family. For an adult, this will indicate marriage. For the elderly, it is a maraka. This is a general outlook, and other relevant periods of the Dasha/Bhukti must be taken into consideration for an accurate and precise prediction. Timing Transits: 1. Events usually happen during the significator periods of the dashas/bhukti, and when the transit agrees. 2. At the time of the event, Sun, Moon, and/or dasha period rulers are usually found to be transiting: (a) in the star or sub of the same dasha lords - such as in the star or sub of the Mahadasha, Bhukti, Pratyantardasha, and/or Sookshma period lords.
(b)
in the star of the
significator* (planetary significator) of that event (other
than the joint period rulers) in the horoscope."
*The
stronger the significators are, the greater the possibility of their
results materializing during a particular year under review.
